GATE

When it comes to your career, you want to make sure that your GATE is unlocked and open for ministry right where you are. You can categorize four key components of your life using the acronym GATE:

G: Gifts
A: Abilities
T: Talent
E: Experiences

Gifts include your spiritual gifts. Abilities are your learned skills. Talent is your unique identity and passions expressed in something that you can never remember not doing. Experiences are the complete package of your tragedies and triumphs in life. All four reside in your heart.

Is your GATE unlocked and open for ministry right where you are? Have you thought about how to use your spiritual gifts to serve others within your career? Do your gifts, abilities, talent, and experiences line up in your current role? If you answered, “Yes” to these questions, then your GATE is unlocked and open. Now, will you walk through it?

The Apostle Paul taught: “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men” (1 Corinthians 12:4-6). God is at work in your life. He designed your GATE to be unlocked and opened for you to serve others.

If your GATE is locked and closed, turn to the One who designed you and ask Him to unlock and open your GATE to serve others right where you are.
